Vanester Davis

Mrs. Vanester Davis was born in Springvale, Georgia on February 10, 1923 to the late Mr. Clifford and Corine Lee. She answered the Master’s call on March 12, 2019 at the Joe-Ann Burgin Nursing Home. She grew up in Springvale, Georgia. Later years, she met and married Mr. Willie B. Davis, Sr. She joined Morris First Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one grandson, five sisters and five sons-in-law.Mrs. Vanester leaves to cherish her memories six daughters, Elvira Porter, Mary Jo Turner, Elnora Ellington (James), Willie Ree Smith, Shirley Thompson and Joyleen Bussey; seven grandsons, Michael Davis (Samantha), Alfred Porter, Eric Porter (Carol), Edward Smith (Gabriella), Joseph Davis Jr (KeAsha), Jamell Thompson (Angela) and Jeffrey Smith; seven granddaughters, Angela (Jeffrey) Bowens, Asheley Smith, Melissa Bussey, Sharonda Bussey, Erica Bussey, Lisa Davis and Bridget Thompson; thirty-five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
