Mrs. Ruthie Lee Bennett-Fair departed her life on May 4, 2019 at Phoebe Puntney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.Mrs. Ruthie Lee Bennett-Fair was born November 13, 1930 to the late parents, Mr. Jimmie D. Bennett and Mrs. Celie Harrison-Bennett. The grand-daughter of the late grandparents, Mrs. Rachel West-Harrison and Mr. Alex Harrison.She is preceded in death by her brother, the late Rev. Eddie James Bennett.She was united in holy matrimony to her late husband, Johnnie James Fair, Sr. Mrs. Ruthie adored and loved to sing gospel.She leaves to cherish her memories seven children: Johnnie James Fair Jr (Ida) of Killeen, TX, Jacquelyn Knighton (Donald) of San Antonio, TX, Rev. Jimmie Fair, Sr (Betty) of Georgetown, GA, Gwendolyn Carter of Cuthbert, GA, Melvin Carter of Michigan, Dorothy Mande of Cuthbert, GA, Tammy Gomez (Kaleb, Sr) of Atlanta, GA; one adopted son, Darius Crowder of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, seven nieces, two nephews, and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
