The family of the Reverend James A. Perryman, Sr. officially announces the passing of Louisville Legend and Community Servant, Rev. James A. Perryman, Sr. Reverend Perryman, Pastor of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and founder of Perryman's Mortuary, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, June 20, 2022, surrounded by his beloved family. We, along with the staff at Perryman’s Mortuary & Perkins Funeral Home, invite you to celebrate his life and legacy with us. May God bless us all during this time of bereavement.
