A TIME TO BE BORN The infinite wisdom of God was cherished when He blessed the hone to the late Bethena “Bess” Holley and the late Albert Holley to their second daughter on May 23, 1951, whom they named Patricia Ann Holley. A TIME TO GROW UP Patricia received her formal education throughout the Georgia School system in which she also attended Henderson High School, graduating in the class of 1969. A TIME TO REFLECT On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, Patricia peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord. She preceded in death by her mother, Bethena Holley; father, Albert Holley and brother, Ennis James Holley (Nancy Holley-widow). A TIME TO PRAISE Patricia accepted Christ at an early age and she really enjoyed going to church at St. Luke Baptist Church (Georgia). In 1970, the family relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL, in which she joined and attended Evergreen Baptist Church. In the summer of 2005, Patricia relocated back to her home state of Georgia. She moved to Waycross, GA and obtained her church home at Assembly of Worship Fellowship Ministry under Pastor Chris Smithson. Patricia was an active member, serving on the board for the kitchen committee. She has a passion for Christ, talking about politics and sports. Her favorite teams were the Miami Dolphins and the Golden State Warriors. Patricia loved people and had a heart of gold. She would give you her last and had a problem saying “no”. Patricia loved spending time with her sister, Carolyn Holley. The two were inseparable. She will be greatly missed by Carolyn. A TIME TO EMBRACE DEPARTURE God decided that it was time to call one of His earthly angels home on March 19, 2019. God makes no mistakes. He knew that Patricia carried out her earthly duties, touched many people in positive ways, and left a memory of her heart in their hearts. She served and gave back community, family and friends. She loved her graduating class of 1969 and would often share some memories of their school reunions. Patricia brought laughter and joy to everyone that was blessed to be in her presence. She was the go-to-person and loved to talk to everyone that she meets. The heavenly angels came to take Patricia on to fulfill her heavenly duties. She leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Carolyn Holley; her former husband and best friend, Howard Hall; her uncles, Renzie Knighton (Carolyn) and Dr. Arelious Knighton; aunt, Ruby Jenkins; sister-in-law, Nancy Holley; nephews, Dennis Lee Allen (Dior) and Marvin Whitehorn (Kelsey); nieces, Patricia Harvey and Rosalie Allen-Palmer (Lorenzo); a host of great nephews, great nieces, cousins, friends and family. A TIME OF PEACE God called her home to eternal rest. Patricia fought a good fight and kept the faith. She will be forever and greatly missed.
