Mr. Collis Lingo

Mr. Collis Lingo, the son of the late Charlie T. and Laura Lingo, was born October 25, 1939 in Abbeville, Alabama. Mr. Collis was educated within the Henry County School System. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Miracle Deliverance Center of Abbeville, AL. He was employed several years with the City of Abbeville prior to him becoming disable. Mr. Collis was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Sallie Mae Lingo. To this union they were blessed with eight children. He was such a loving, helpful person, who loved to have fun and deeply loved his family. You could always count on a laugh when he was around. On Monday, April 26, 2021 at Medical Center Barbour. Mr. Collis departed his earthly life to eternal rest. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one son, Charles Lingo. He leaves cherished memories to his three daughters, Patricia (Frankie) Jones, Joyce McCray and Teresa Hudson; four sons, Tyrone (Betty) Lingo, Jerome (Sharon) Lingo, Nazareth (Regina) Lingo, Collings (Shaneka) Lingo; twenty-eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
