Lizzie Thomas

Ms. Lizzie Thomas was born on October 21, 1957 to Willie Lee Thomas and the late Elizabeth Allen in Cocoa, Florida. She was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church.  She graduated from Randolph County Comprehensive High School, Class of ‘77.  Lizzie loved to cook and was a social butterfly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Allen and brother, James Thomas.  On October 16, 2018, at her residence, Lizzie transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal home. Lizzie leaves to cherish her memories:  her daughter, Sandra Vaughn (Terrance); son, Derrick Thomas; nephews, like sons, Bernard Lane and Lemill Lane; grandchildren, Tianna Williams, Alexus Vaughn, Adreanna Vaughn, Trinity Vaughn, Za’Aquarious Brookins and Derrick Thomas, Jr; sisters, Annie Thomas (Eugene), Gladys Lane (Darrell); brothers, Freddie Thomas, Alonzo Thomas; one uncle, Clayton Walton (Betty); best friends, like sisters, Betty Slaughter and Gwinette Green Martin; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
