Larry Williams

October 26, 1953 — August 10, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Wendell Williams, a beloved member of the Cuthbert community, who left us on August 10, 2024, at his home in Cuthbert, Georgia. Larry, affectionately known as “Uncle Larry”, was born on October 26, 1953, in Cuthbert, Georgia, to his parents Claude Williams and Gladys Williams.

Larry dedicated over forty years of his life working at Whatley Oil Company in Cuthbert, GA, showing unwavering commitment and loyalty to his profession. He was a proud alumnus of Henderson High School.

Away from work, Larry found joy in simple pleasures. He had a passion for music and spent many hours delighting in its melodies. Additionally, he was an avid fan of wrestling and found great entertainment in watching matches unfold.

A man of many talents and interests, Larry touched the lives of those around him in unique ways. He was a cherished brother to his siblings Peggy Bryant of Albany, GA, Kim Denise (Tony) Coleman, Gail Williams of Cuthbert, GA, Winfred (Toni) Williams of Hahira, GA, Donald Bruce Williams of Dallas, TX, and Claude Williams of Bronx, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Loved ones who preceded him in death are his mother & father, Claude & Gladys Williams, daughter Keywan Robinson and brother Keith Williams.

Larry Williams will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering dedication, and the legacy of love he leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace as we hold onto the memories and the impact he made during his time with us.
