Jeraline Nelson

Mother Jeraline Nelson was born June 3rd, 1931 in Weston, GA to the late Carrie Kendrick and Jesse Gordon. She was also preceeded in death by her husband Usher L. Nelson (Aka Tolou)Mother Nelson attended various schools in Randolph County and had a brilliant mind. Her hobbies were reading and doing crossword puzzles. MaDean, as she was called by many, was a committed church member of Greater Life Ministers. She was the mother of the church until her death. Mother Nelson was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ and served faithfully until her health failed her. She was known to assist and help people her entire life. Also she exemplified what the Lord commissioned his believers to do,“Love the brethren.” There is no one she didn’t help that entered her life needing help.She was a great mother to her eight children and grandson Christopher Nelson.She leaves a legacy of love to her 5 sons: Robert Knighton, John Nelson; both of Cuthbert, GA, Ray Nelson, James Nelson, David Nelson (Sharon); all of St. Petersburg, FL. 3 Daughters: Dorothy Edwards, Jesse Richardson; both of St. Petersburg, FL., and Demples Nelson of Cuthbert, GA. and Caregiver to grandson Christopher Nelson of Cuthbert, GA. 1 Brother, Arthur Alford of Cuthbert, GA; 1 Specialand devoted cousin, Flossie Gilbert of Newark, NJ; 1 Devoted nephew Brady Kendrick (Jessie) of Dawson, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
