Helen Jean Hightower

Sister Helen Jean Hightower was born on October 15, 1947 to Freddie Mae Hightower and Wilson Scott, both preceded her in death. She departed this life on September 8, 2018 at Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Helen was one of three children. Her daughter Theresa Starling and brother Robert Lee Hightower preceded her in death.

Helen attended the Randolph County School System. She joined New Salem CME Church at an early age where she served as a faithful member until her health failed.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three children: Kisha Hightower (Atlanta, Ga), Alicia Hightower and Amelia Hightower both of Cuthbert, GA. One sister, Bertha (Lester) Harmon of Cuthbert, GA., one brother, Johnny B. Scott of Cuthbert, GA. Ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, one living aunt, Lucinda Ellis of Cuthbert, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
