The sun gloriously rose in the life of Mrs. Fannie Bussey Johnson on June 25, 1941 in Randolph County, GA. She was born into the family of the late Lewis and Mittie Bussey. As she traveled across the western hemisphere of her life she obtained her education in the public schools of Cuthbert, GA. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Roscoe Johnson, Jr., to this union which two children were born Patricia J. Hamilton and Melodie Johnson McCrae. With this being said, she was employed by the Randolph County Board of Education as a bus driver for thirty-five years. The children enjoyed their travel to and from on buses 23 & 34. She was always pleasant and had such a beautiful smile and spirit. People always asked, “Do she ever raise her voice?" At an early age she joined the Benevolence Baptist Church in Benevolence, GA. Later years she then moved her membership to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Cuthbert, GA with her husband. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Patricia J. Hamilton and Melodie Johnson McCrae (Gary, Sr) of Cuthbert, GA; two sisters-in-law, Essie Bussey of Harford, CT and Louise Bussey of Chicago, IL; one aunt, Clementine Starks of New York; six grandsons, Jarrell McCrae of Atlanta, GA, Darian Patterson of Ohio, Reginald and Willie Burks of Cuthbert, GA, Roscoe Hamilton of Bronx, NY, and Gary McCrae, Jr of Cuthbert, GA; ten great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will definitely be missed by all. Video Tribute
