Charlie James Hart

Charlie James Hart was born on November 30th ,1941 to Charlie Mack and Lurrie Hart.He was a member of Mount Cilla AME Church and became an accomplished deacon there until transitioning to his heavenly home.Charlie was united in holy matrimony to Lois (Hudson) on November 23rd, 1964. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.He was a great contractor, DJ, and dancer. He had a great passion for fishing. He was an inspiration to his community and headed and coached one of the greatest women’s soft ball teams, “Charlie’s Angel.” Charlie’s gentle personality will live on in the hearts of those who cherished, adored and loved him. His love for his family, patience and kindness will remain with his family forever.Charlie is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Lurrie Hart; wife, Lois Hart; two siblings, Nette Eva Channel and Freddie Hart; one daughter, Cassandra Thornton and one brother-in-law; Larry Hudson.He leaves to cherish his memory, his three children to his union with Annie Lois; Rowassa Hart of Loganville, GA; Avis (Michelle) Hart of Cuthbert GA; and Trennia (Johnny) Latimer of Loganville, GA. He leaves his children; Angela Peeples of Rockledge Florida, Gregory (Jackie) Holmes of Cuthbert, GA; Terrolyn Holmes of Albany, GA; Adrian Williams of Albany, GA; one sister, Maxine Walker of Monticello, NY; one brother, Elmer Hart of Stockbridge, GA; four sisters-in-law, Bettye (Arthur) Williams of Albany, GA, Shirley (Robert) Chester of Blakely, GA and Carol (Eugene) Ivory of Philadelphia, PA, Roxanne Hart of Ellenville, NY; one brother-in-law, Eddie Neil Hudson of Atlanta, GA and loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a community that loved him dearly.
