Benny Foster, Jr.

Benny Foster, Jr. was born January 22, 1960 in Quitman County, GA to the late Benny Foster, Sr. and Betty Jean Foster. He departed this life on July 26, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Benny joined Morris First Baptist Church in Morris, GA at an early age. He later joined Agape Ministries, Inc. in Shellman, GA under the leadership of Pastor Ethel Coleman. He served on the Usher Board, Deacon Board and the Church Board of Directors. He also operated in the office of an Evangelist. Benny served in the Military for twenty-three years. He was owner of Foster Trucking Company. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving wife of 40 years, Lizzie Foster; son, Willie R. Brown of Albany, GA; daughter, Shundra (Tracy) Green Gibbs of Morris, GA; a loving mother, Betty Jean Foster; two sisters, Cynthia Richards and Annette Gibbs; two sisters proceeded him in death, Theresa Davis and Terry Foster; four brothers, Kreggory (Shaun) Foster, Leon (Tamekia) Foster, Lonnie B. Gibbs and Willie D. Granger. Twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
