He was a husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was brave, funny, foolish, loving, frustrating and at times, joyful. He was never a stranger to anyone. He fought the battle and won the prize; a place in God’s Kingdom. Stacey Eugene Mock was born at Walker AFB in Roswell, New Mexico on April 2, 1966. He was the son of James E. and Francina V. Mock. Stacey departed this life on July 22, 2016 at Decatur General Hospital in Decatur, Alabama. He was married to Yolanda Hall. He was a member of Moulton Heights Baptist Church, Decatur, Alabama and was a former member of Payne Chapel A.M E. Church. A graduate of Randolph-Clay Comprehensive High School in 1984, he did it all. Stacey played baseball, basketball and was in the band. He had a love for golf. Stacey had other skills that led him to various jobs such as the Assistant Fire Chief in Cuthbert, Ga, Fire Chief at Hancock Prison in Sparta, Ga and Supervisor at Wolfson Casing Corporation. The most precious gifts Stacey leaves behind are his children: Terrell S. Mock, Jessica N. Mock, Erica D. Campbell (Matthew), Stacie C. Mock and Jauyonta Hall – Cobb. He also leaves three grandchildren: Tevinn T. Tanner, Melanie E. Campbell and Madison T. Campbell. Not to mention a host of nephews, nieces and friends. Stacy is survived by his parents James E. & Francina Mock, Sr. His siblings: Valerie Davis, Angela L. Mock, Velma Pinkins, James C. Mock (Cathy) and Brian C. Mock (Tamyah); He is preceded in death by his brother, James E. Mock, Jr.
