Thersea Yvette Starling

Sister Theresa Yvette Starling was born on November 4, 1965 to Helen Hightower and James Freeman. She departed this life on December 14, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.Theresa was on of ten children. A sister, Shalese R. Freeman preceded her in death.Theresa attended the Randolph County School system. She joined New Salem CME Church at an early age; later moved her membership to New Hope Baptist Church, where she served as a faithful member until her health failed.She was united in Holy matrimony to Idus Starling, Jr. To the union, five children were born. Later, she married Wayne Jackson.She leaves to cherish her memories: five children: a son, Kenyarda (Shalonda) Starling, Atlanta, GA; four daughters: Tequila Starling, Shamekial (Shawn) Starling, Tiffany (Ricky) Starling, and Rekesia Starling; twelve grandchildren; her mother Helen Hightowner and father James Freeman, all of Cuthbert, GA; six sisters: Kisha Hightower, Atlanta, GA, Alicia Hightower, Amella Hightower, both of Cuthbert, GA; Kathy Brown, Orlando, FL, Kim L. Freeman and Shantae Freeman; three brothers: James Freeman, Jr., Christopher (Felicia) Freeman, an Stacy L. Freeman, all of Sorrento, FL; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.—
