David Hamm Pastor OfficatingBrother Willie James Scott, 62, entered into eternal peace Monday, June 23, 2014 at Joe Ann Burgin Nursing Home in Cuthbert, Georgia. Willie was born April 19, 1952 to the late Freddie Dell and Edward Scott in Randolph County, Georgia.    He attended Randolph County public schools.    He joined Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, and he served on the Usher Board until his health failed. Willie was preceded in death by six sisters: Ommie Sue, Joyce, Pearlene (Red), Glenda, Virginia, Freddie Althea (Nee); and two brothers: Marvin and Elijah.     He leaves to cherish his memories, a son Anthony Scott, Cuthbert, Georgia; a most devoted friend and caregiver, Virginia Coley, Cuthbert, Georgia; two sisters: Annie Murphy, Cuthbert, Georgia and Eunice Dunn, Baltimore, Maryland; one brother: Randolph Scott, Cuthbert, Georgia; one brother-in-law: Lester Johnson, Cuthbert, Georgia; one sister-in-law: Shirley Scott, Hawkinsville, Georgia; one grandchild, Aveion Wells; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
