Coleman on January 1, 1972 in Cuthbert, GA.Seasons of GrowthRandy completed his education within the Randolph County School System, graduatng with the Class of 1992 from RCHS. After graduation, he obtained a position at RCHS as a paraprofessional and a bus driver. He served in multiple capacities over the years within the system from administrative assistant, landscape service worker, to custodian. He also completed a rigorous Commerical Driver's License (CDL) training at Truck Driver Institute (TDI) in Forsysth, GA. He loved basketball and coached c-team for a brief period. Randy was well-known for coaching from the stands and cheering on team members! Proudly, he was able to support his oldest daughter, Brandy as a RCHS cheerleader and his younger daughter, Kamiyah as a c-team basketball player from RCMS. He was always there to keep his wife and children filled with fun and laughter.Matrimonial Bond:R.C. met Delphinie (Borders) in 1994 as she arrived to start her career in education at Randolph-Clay High School. That blissful day, he invited Delphinie to lunch to accommodate her within a new environment. On July 29, 1995, they were united in holy matrimony in Union Springs, Alabama. Their bond of love resulted in the birth of three precious children, Rodney Coleman (preceded in death), Brandy Alexis Coleman and Kamiyah Brianna Coleman.Call to Glory:His number was called by God on Saturday night, June 14, 2014, while awaiting a prolonged, scheduled heart surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital of Emory in Atlanta, GA. His beautiful daughters, Brandy Alexis Colemand and Kamiyah Brianna Coleman will extend his legacy, along with his devoted wife, Delphinie Borders-Coleman. Survivors: Annie Doris and John W. Coleman, Sr. (parents); John W. Coleman, Jr. and Dextrell (Virginia) Coleman (brothers); Bragg and Lizzie Brookins (maternal grandparents); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.~Preceded in death by Larry Coleman and William B. Coleman (brothers.)~
