Stephanie Walton, Pastor, OfficiatingMs. Lillie Pearl Moreland was born January 27, 1937, in Randolph County, to the late Evelyn and Gus Moreland of Cuthbert, Georgia.She departed this life on February 4, 2014, at Joe Anne Burgin Nursing Home.She joined Pleasant Grove A.M.E. at an early age in Cuthbert, Georgia, where she served faithfully until her health failed. She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories caregiver, her niece, Dorothy General; one brother, Johnny White of Cuthbert, Georgia; one aunt, Leola White of Cuthbert, Georgia; three nieces, Dorothy General, Mary A. Jones and Shirley A. Mansfield; eleven nephews, Willie Jackson, Steve (Mildred) Jackson, Larry Jackson, Lonnie Jackson, Marvin Jackson, Willie A. Jackson, all of Cuthbert, Georgia, Jerry (Teresa) Jackson, Eddie (Tanjala) Jackson, Donald (Lona) Jackson of Hobbs, New Mexico, Ronald (Dorshell) Jackson of Odessa, Texas, Willie Ed (Doris) Moreland of Plant City, Florida; and a host of great nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
