Keith Larmar Prather

Bro. Keith Lamar Prather was born December 26, 1955 in Cuthbert, Randolph County, GA to the late James and Mattie Benton Prather. At an early age he confessed Christ and joined the St. John A.M.E. Church. He was educated in the public schools of Randolph County, GA and graduated from Randolph County Comprehensive High School in 1974. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie and James Prather, a sister, Mary Louise, and a brother, James M. Prather, Sr. Keith was employed Ayres Aviation in Albany, GA, for 12 years, Patula Electric, Randolph County School System and for several years he was self-employed as a contractor. He had a tremendous passion for cooking, hunting, and fishing. Keith had a zest for life and a fun spirit. His easy going personality was enjoyed by his family and friends. On July 17, 2013 our Lord called Keith from labor to eternal reward in Cuthbert, GA. Precious memories are left with his sister, Ms. Gussie Moore of Compton, CA; newphews MSgt James M. Prather, Jr. (Shenikie) of Charleston, South Carolina and SMSgt Christopher B. Prather of Hampton, VA; one sister-in-law, Ms. Dorothy H. Prather of Albany, GA; his great-nephew, Jalen C. Prather of Hampton, VA; two great-nieces, Anaia Nicole Prather and Monet Prather of Charleston, SC and host of special cousins, loving nieces, and friends.View Trbute Video
