On May 17, 1934, God blessed the late Ms. Cecial Engram with a son, Wardell Engram, affectionately known as Pooster. He transitioned into peaceful rest on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at his residence in Albany, GA at the age of 78. Realizing that there is a time for every purpose under the heaven, He professed his faith in God and joined the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He remained a faithful member until he went home to be with the Lord. Wardell was educated in the Randolph County School System. He worked for the telephone company for a number of years until his retirement. Also realizing there is a time to love, Wardell was united in holy matrimony to the late Willie Ethel Starling. To this union one daughter, Bobbie Ree Engram, was born. He was later united in holy matrimony to Mary McConnell. He was the youngest of three siblings. Two sisters preceded him in death, Katherine Sampson and Avery Sampson-Williams. Wardell leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife whom stood by him through it all, Mary Lou C.
