ChurchInterment: Henderson & Powell Cemetery On January 22, 2012, Freddie Lee Taylor answered the call of God at Joe-Anne Burgin Nursing Home in Cuthbert, GA. Freddie Lee Taylor was born on March 11, 1912 in Fort Pierce, FL to the parents of Fred and Francina Duval.  She was a graduate of Lincoln Park Academy.  She received a degree from Baldwin Haven School of Tailoring in Jacksonville, FL. Freddie Lee accepted Christ at an early age joining St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Fort Pierce, FL.  She later joined Payne Chapel A.M.E. church in Cuthbert, GA where she wore many hats.  She served as Superintendent of Sunday School, Director of Junior Usher Board and Choir, member of the Senior Usher Board, Pastor's Aide Board, and Missionary Society and church secretary. Freddie left her mark of kindness and service to others.  She served as a substitute teacher for Dade County schools, a cook for Nannie L. Jenkins Learning Center and many other services.  Her biggest service was her belief in God that she passed on to others. On April 28, 1934, Freddie was married to the late Albert L. Taylor and to this union five children were born. She had one son to precede her in death, Tyrone Taylor. She leaves to mourn three sons and one daughter, George Taylor (Florence), of Jenson Beach, FL, Francina Mock (James) of Cuthbert, GA, Robert Taylor (Seung) of Honolulu, HI, Lonnie Taylor (Patricia) of Miami, FL; one sister, Ruth Carter of Minneapolis, MN; one brother, Pat Duvall of Fort Pierce, FL, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren.
