Ozie Walton

Walton was born on June 25, 1933 in Benevolence, GA to the late Viola and Joseph Myers.  She was the biological daughter of the late Jim Evans.  Mrs. Ozie Walton made her transition from this earthly world into God's hands on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Ozie was a member of the Greater Level Hill Baptist Church in Newark, NJ, where she served as the Mother of the Church and the Pastor's Aide. Ozie worked for Jim Dandy Dry Cleaners as a presser in Jamaica Queens, NY until her retirement. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Willie B. Walton. She had one son, Eddie L. Walton; one sister, Annie B. Gipson; and two brothers, Hommer Will Baldwin and Johnnie B. Coleman to precede her in death. She leaves to mourn three daughters, Minnie, Dorothy, and Arlean all of New Jersey; one son, Willie B. Walton of Queens, NY; seven grandchildren, Angelo, Tyrone, Danielle, Pele`, Jennifer, Bernadette, and Whitney; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
